Boulder Reservoir South Shore Sign Package

The South Shore of the Boulder Reservoir needed new wayfinding and site signage. Working within the regional park’s existing entry sign style and Boulder Parks and Recreation department brand guidelines, this sign package involved the creation of over 60 new signs that would direct visitors around the park.

Visibility from moving vehicles was crucial - icons were used for quick identification, and outlines and shadow effects help the graphics stand out. The icons were chosen for their universal meanings for those who don’t read English or have difficulty reading.

This project was completed while working as a planner within the department.
